The much-awaited Girls’ Final Cricket Match (Grades IX–XII) between Hamdan House and Iqbal House on 22nd August 2025 turned out to be a true nail-biter!
Batting
first, Iqbal House showcased sheer power, posting a competitive 112 runs in 10
overs, with Madihah smashing an outstanding 68 runs.
In
response, Hamdan House fought bravely, with Sahiba scoring
a valiant 57 runs, but their innings ended at 108 runs—just 4 runs short!
Iqbal
House lifted the trophy with a thrilling 4-run victory, making it one of the
most exciting matches of the season!
Painting
Competition (Classes V–VIII):
While cricket brought cheers to the ground, creativity filled the halls as students from Classes V–VIII unleashed their imagination in the Inter-House Painting Competition.
From
cultural heritage to future dreams, the young artists painted stories that
spoke louder than words. Their canvases truly reflected originality, colour,
and brilliance.
The
day beautifully celebrated sportsmanship on the field and creativity
on the canvas —a perfect blend of energy, expression, and excellence at
DPS Baramulla!
